I want to try online elections
With gReception VOTING, you can carry out these types of voting:
PUBLIC OR SECRET ONLINE ELECTIONS
- most often used in secret mode with the verification of the voter for the election of the Board of Directors, the Council, the Inspection Committee or the Chairperson
- the voter selects from the list of candidates and the administrator can limit the number of votes per voter, the number of elected positions, e.g. the Audit Committee – 3 members
- the results sheet is divided into three parts – elected, met the selection criterion (substitutes) and did not meet the criteria
What do you need before starting online elections?
- Will the election be secret with voter verification? Or public?
- List of eligible voters and their email addresses
- Candidate list
- Number of candidates that can be elected
- Criterion for the acceptance of the proposal (e.g. over 50%)
- Quorum for election validity (e.g. over 33%)
- The period when it is possible to vote
- What are the weights of the votes of individual voters?
What does “secret with voter verification” mean? – the system verifies that the one who is voting is an eligible voter, records their vote but no one can see who they voted for. In practice, this is known as casting a ballot in the ballot box.
ONLINE VOTING
- most often used to vote on proposals
- Online elections – Choosing from the list of candidates with the possibility to reduce the number of votes of a voter, number of voted positions; the score sheet is divided into three parts – elected, met the selection criterion (substitutes) and did not meet the criteria.
What do you need before voting starts?
- Questions / suggestions for voting
- Criterion for the acceptance of the proposal (e.g. over 50%)
- Quorum for election validity (e.g. over 33%)
- The period when it is possible to vote
- What are the weights of the votes of individual voters?
- Will the voting be secret with voter verification or public?
- Will it be open to all as a survey or accessible only to eligible voters?
How long should online elections take? – elections started during a general meeting can take only 20 minutes. However, if these are elections not related to a congress or conference, they can be run for several weeks.
Who will run the elections?
Your person can run the elections – we will create a unique environment with a voting guide, send them access and introduce them to the system. Online training takes about an hour. Your admin will then prepare the elections, set the parameters (quorum, criteria, voter lists, list of candidates, etc.), set automatic reminders as well as the start and end dates of the elections. After the elections, they will generate an election report and that’s all.
Elections can be run by our administrator – they will set the parameters according to the documents obtained from you, start the elections and after the elections, send an election report to the contact specified by you.
If you plan to vote more often, we definitely recommend the variant with training and system rental; you will be your master and save money. We would be happy to calculate the gReception Voting rental.
Mandatory personal data protection is provided in accordance with Act No. 110/2019 Coll and GDPR requirements. Bulk mailing is used for sending calls for vote with the minimization of emails going to the spam folder.
